Xanthan Gum biopolymer gives high viscosity build at low shear rates. It can be utilized as a viscosifier in oilfield drilling, workover and completion fluids. It is a high molecular weight polysaccharide produced by fermentation of carbohydrate with Xanthomonas Campestris.
