1.product introduction
An important issue faced in the pressure construction of large pore plugging and loss of fractured complex wells is the sealing agent can not effectively reside in the loss layer, coupled with flowing and scouring of the water thief zones, often diluted and loss. It is difficult to form an effective blocking layer in loss layer and can not improve the compressive strength.
 
Now to solve this problem is to adjust the particle size of the bridging material and use the fibers and thixotropic cement slurry. Although the difficulty and investment increased, it still can not adapt to the complex of the leakage channel. It often can't be up to the estimated requirement for the pressure sealing strength.
 
DR-TC temperature thickener is a mixed product with branched spiral structure polymer and the crosslinking agent. Its molecular structure contains alcoholic hydroxyl groups and cross-linkable functional groups. When the temperature of the system increases, it can activate the functional groups of the polymer and the crosslinking agent to react and form a bond or diether linkages, making the temperature thickener molecules mutual coupling and forming multi-dimensional network structure. It improves the thixotropic paste, so that to achieve the thickening effect of temperature change.
After the DR-TC temperature thickener being adding into the pressure sealing system, the pressure sealing agent can automatic cross-linked and thickening with the  increasing temperature, to form a semi-solid slurry sealing agent, thereby enhancing the sealing agent's adaptive and residing in the fractured and large pore complex leakage layer. It helps the sealing agent to form a high strength sealing layer in leakage channel, effectively improve the strength and success rate of Pressure Sealing. Therefore DR-TC temperature thickener is a reinforcing agent for plugging in various plugging system. It can significantly improve the performance of existing plugging agent and plugging system.
